After a summer spent winning the hearts of countless cyclists and hikers, this resort, in the heart of the Dolomites, will be clad in snow to become the most entertaining and action-packed jewel in the crown of Dolomiti Superski, the world's largest ski area. This winter Movimënt and its locality will be offering slopes groomed to perfection, superbly equipped parks, refuges in which to sample delicious dishes, plus numerous new attractions and exciting events.

What's new for the winter

Play, stop, rewind: after a challenging run what could be more exciting than seeing yourself in action on screen, just like all those shots captured by the cameras and featuring champion skiers doing battle in a race. 3 of the Movimënt slopes now make it possible to film your own descent: the Parallel Slalom, perfect for a head-to-head challenge with friends, the Movie Slalom on the Col Alto slope and the Speedcheck slope, on which each skier is timed, providing the perfect motivation for upping your performance. Just click on the download section of this website to download your film clip, a video that you can then add to your profile on your favourite social network and share a fabulous memory with friends.

New attractions have been added to the Alta Badia Snowpark, one of Italy's best equipped venues. For freestylers and free-riders in search of that adrenalin rush, the park, with separate areas for beginners, medium-skilled and advanced skiers, now boasts 17 boxes, 10 rails and 17 kickers for jumping and other acrobatics on the snow. The park is kept in a perfect state by the expert team of "shapers" who tend it every day. Biok is home to the Funslope, a mix of ski slope and snowpark, specially designed for all those, both kids and grown-ups, who are just starting to gain confidence in free-riding. The slope has 20 features including bends, jumps, drops and snow tunnels.
